SSAB is the producer of Hardox, the wear plate for extreme abrasion resistance. SSAB needed a partner in the goldfields of Western Australia – a partner with excellent design expertise who understands wear problems in the mining industry.
SSAB selected Goldmont Engineering to be its representative for Hardox wearparts in the goldfields of Western Australia. As a member of the Hardox Wearparts® network – a worldwide network of wear service centers – Goldmont can design a wear package solution to address your wear problems. We design equipment and wear packages to increase uptime, reduce costs and increase productivity. We support customers with the right choice of wear parts and services, and we are determined to do it better than anybody else.
A product designed by Goldmont using Hardox® and another specialty steel, Strenx®, is the Outcast Bucket for underground mining.
