About Goldmont

Goldmont Engineering is a supplier of boilermaking, welding and associated services to the mining, heavy haulage and general transport and construction industries. Associated services include engineering design, drafting (with certification), general fabrication, coded welding, sandblasting and painting.

Goldmont works with light (sheet metal) and heavy gauge steel ranging from less than 1mm thickness to 150mm thickness and with a range of materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium.

Goldmont has a fabrication workshop in Kalgoorlie and a fleet of trucks fitted out to provide on-site boilermaking services. Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for both emergency break down repairs and planned works. Goldmont will service mine and construction sites anywhere in Australia.

For the mining and heavy haulage transport industries, Goldmont manufactures, maintains, repairs and rebuilds equipment and infrastructure. Mining industry work spans across mobile heavy earth moving equipment, fixed plant and mine infrastructure. Heavy haulage and general transport industry work includes repair and fabrication of whole, or components of, truck bodies and chassis, manufacture of service trucks and ancillary equipment.  Goldmont is a licensed motor body repairer.

Goldmont supplies a range of products which we have developed and designed in-house. These items provide solutions for customers’ problems, addressing issues such as safety, cost and productivity, and demonstrate Goldmont’s innovation skills. We are able to certify all of our products.

Goldmont designed and built the  “Automated Pile Cutter” (APC) – a machine that automates the cutting and preparation of tubular steel raked piles used to support jetties. The APC has dramatically reduced the time required to cut and weld prepare raked piles.  The APC exemplifies Goldmont’s innovative spirit which is backed up by a management team with a broad knowledge of Mining and Construction services and a “can do” attitude.

Goldmont’s people are carefully selected based on capabilities, potential and fit with our culture and values as part of our ongoing focus to be the supplier of choice.
